Sport Sensor Turn Rate Radar with Pace Timer, my favorite tool.

Here is a review I would have liked to have read before purchasing my sport radar with rate of turn sensor and pace timer. I am 68 years old and have only played 4 rounds of golf a year for the past few years due to work. When I was younger (40 years old) my handicap dropped to 6. I guess it's 12-14 now but I haven't played enough to know for sure. When I bought new clubs, including a Titleist 913 D3 Driver's Club, the store put me in a standard 10.5 degree loft shaft. (Bad choose). I ended up going to the PGA Tour Academy here at the World Golf Village and the pro put me on a FlightScope and measured my rate of turn at a steady 95mph. Told me I need a hard shaft and 8.5 degree driver. I read about the radar and asked him if it would be good to use it to restore my golf swing and increase the speed of my shot. He agreed and I bought the device the same day. When he arrived a week later, I took him to the shooting range. Didn't you know that the field was closed for the tournament, but I set up the device and swung without balls. I was constantly pumping at 88-89 mph (not 95). I called the company and to my surprise they took the call. When I asked if I could set the monitor to my speed of 95mph, they said no but asked if I was hitting balls. When I answered no, he told me that I have to hit the balls, I don't let go of the racquet without the ball. I let go of the racquet, I thought, but today (a week later) I went to the shooting range and hit the balls. To my surprise, the speed of the first was 95 miles per hour! The next 20 was between 94 and 96 mph. Then I started adjusting my swing by increasing the width, delay and release (while using a soft wrist and proper body rotation). At the end of the workout I was at 100-102 mph with no further swing. That's why I bought the monitor and will continue to use it in my practice. If you are serious about increasing your swing speed this is a great tool to help you. I hope that was helpful.
