Review on 🔗 Savadicar Chain Hood Latch Aluminum Hood Catch Kit for 2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler JL JLU & Gladiator JT Truck – Black (2PCS) by Travis Showcase

Wanted to love them as others have said they are remodeled and look great. Unfortunately, they have many flaws. Mine came with no instructions, ma'am. Buyer needs to apply self-adhesive neoprene pads, fur. 4 short and 2 long bolts means the long one goes to the bottom bracket and the short one goes to the side of the hood but no, a short one goes down and one up and the top one needs a longer one for the bottom hole is the cover for the application way too long, so in the end it doesn't matter. The mounting nuts are ribbed for locking, but the two screws that attach the latch to the lower bracket have no additional locking mechanism and are a moving part. They will loosen up over time so I would secure them with threads if the latch works for you. The problem is that there is vertical adjustment built into the side hood latches, in my case I needed a lot more. I couldn't lower the hood side latch far enough that the hood wouldn't hit the lower quarter panel. I very much doubt this is a problem with my JL as it is 2 weeks old and has less than 300 miles on the odometer. Returned.
