A great example of "You get what you pay for" as this fan is AWESOME. I was skeptical about spending a lot of money on a fan and then buying the blades individually, but overall it worked. The instruction manual is top notch except for the part about programming the 'remote control' which is actually an active multifunction switch. That's the only reason I gave the remote control 4 stars. I finally learned to follow directions and not overdo it. What is quite inventive is how they match the correct maximum fan speed to the blade size you choose. Assembly and finishing at the highest level. My main reason for the purchase was that the fan I bought from the Home Center store was noisy. This fan is the complete opposite. As quiet as possible. My only regret is that I wish I had discovered this fan sooner. Don't waste your time buying fans that are sold at home centers. You just don't compare to it.
