I have a small gym in the basement which is on carpet, so I tried to cover the carpet with these work out tiles.

It was very difficult to keep these together (required Duck tap on the back) and also from buckling (had to use a bunch of small nails to keep this stretched out and nailed to the wooden carpet frame by the wall edges). Took way too long to make it look "ok".I would probably go with something different if you're going to put this on carpet.
