Review on 🖨️ Enhancing Accuracy in 3D Printing with PRILINE Filament Printer by Andre Tenk

I love this yarn. I'm making the book covers for a character in the Mistborn trilogy and wanted to make them out of wooden thread to give them a "richer" look and fit on my bookshelf. I did a bit of shopping and all the usual suspects (Colorfabb, MG, Hatchbox etc.) were sold out so I ordered a few of these and then took a picture and ordered this one. Boy am I glad I did that. I have attached a number of photos. One of the prints, two just taken out of the printer, two of them sanded, some stained, some poly-stained, some side-by-side, etc. One of the flat prints had an under-extrusion that actually looks like I made a cool drawing in it, some sort of wood texture. I used the Wood.py python script with Cura to slice it to modulate the temperature range (200-230) to achieve some "banding" to mimic the grain of the wood. However, for under-extrusion, I found the recommended pressure settings to be a little low, and I've bumped it up a few degrees to 210-240. This seemed to result in a much more consistent print, but my all-metal hot-end print with a 0.8mm nozzle tends to run a little warmer than recommended, so your mileage may vary. stringy, but I guess that's to be expected with something like this. It sands well and paints MUCH better than I expected. I used a gel stain and initially left it on longer than recommended but after trying to wipe it off after 3 minutes (recommended) I think it's more than enough. I actually want to get some lighter color to see if I can improve some of the stripes a bit. tl; dr, it prints well, first layer adhesion is almost too good, it sands well, accepts ink well, and it works with python font for streaks in print. I will probably cancel my previous hatchbox order and order another roll of this stuff. I'm SUPER satisfied.
