Disappointing. on punching machines

Bought to have fun with t-shirt design so never intended to use it for stickers or anything. Communication is disappointing and there are VERY few "free" designs. I was very upset to find out that many of the designs I downloaded (from the internet or from free images) could not be printed, I went to the Cricut design app and the designs were $1.99 each . I was hooked and bought a few but found they weren't compatible with the Cricut Joy. I got the first month of "Theme" feature for free but didn't know until after I bought it, but then again, MANY of the themes aren't compatible, so I spend a lot of time designing something, I'm having connection issues. to Joy, it's incompatible, and then I have to go back and redo it. After the first month of free design, access to clips and certain fonts is $9.99 per month. If I had known all this, it would have been MUCH cheaper and a lot less frustrating for me to just buy the t-shirts I wanted instead of investing in a $179 Joy and walking away very disappointed.
