Joy ordered, it's arrived and looking forward to making cards only to find out the $179 Joy doesn't even come with a card making mat . Disappointing! It's a lot of money not including some of the basic elements needed to create what they show you in their demos.

I've wanted Cricut for a long time, but until recently there was no money. I ordered the Joy mainly because it's cheaper and I just don't have room for larger models and I'm so glad I did because it's absolutely PERFECT for my needs. Basically I wanted him to do special decals for my car and stuff and Joy is spot on for that. I've made 4 or 5 and they all turned out great. Very easy to use, I'm ready and cutting within 10 minutes of opening the box.

I specifically bought this to cut stickers for my Etsy page, but no matter how much I worked on my cutouts so that they fit perfectly with my stickers, the grille was on the cut in the same place. Even when I tried to print from the app and cut from the printout, Cricut shifted the cuts so they didn't line up. I spent $20 on my product to get this cricket to work for me. I had to swap it out for Cricut Air, I hope it will be easier to use for stickers. To put it mildly, disappointed.

So I've noticed a lot of reviews comparing this to other versions of Cricut or other brands and as a first time user like many of you (I have never used a machine of any brand or type) I wanted to share my opinion. I've had joy for over a month now and I love it! I've always wanted a Cricut but didn't want the other models to be too big and not need all the features. This one is perfect if you just want to make vinyl stickers, labels and iron-on patches. The only reason I give it four stars is because my blade had to be replaced within a month, I've made at least 30+ decals/tags and some of them have been very difficult. I've wanted to get a Cricut for a long time but was hesitant because of the size of other machines. Which was so intimidating, not to mention the price of these bad boys! But now that they've finally released a compact, I really like it. Super easy to use and navigate the app and create your own unique creations. I'm in love! I made some postcards and even a drawing that I uploaded to Cricut Design Space right on my iPhone. Yes, you read that right, the photos were taken in the palm of my hand!
