Wagan EL2600 was tested with a load of 90W for an incandescent lamp and 60W for a switching power supply. It worked well with either load individually, but produced a high-pitched screech with either load that measured 82 dBA at 3 feet. The inverter was connected directly to a 55 Ah battery. At full load, the following parameters were measured: DC input 11.7V @ 16.2A (189W) AC output 108V @ 1.7A, 150W, 180VA, 59.9Hz The screeching stopped immediately , when any load is disconnected and voltage restored to 120V. The fan running at full speed has a noise level of <60dBA. While the Wagan looks good at lower power, it doesn't live up to its advertised 200-watt continuous output. I'm going back to Revan.
