While working on my new 3d printer I decided I wanted to do some fan upgrades and needed to properly wire in a buck converter to go from 24v to 12v. My old iron decided to die and I decided to upgrade to an actual solder station.The temps are stable on this solder station and the numbers are easy to read. Adjusting the temps is as simple as hitting a button. I deducted a star from the review because the solder spool holders are tiny tiny. In order to use the spool holders, I need to spool off from my larger spool to the included tiny spools, making it inconvenient.
