In late 2015 I placed two separate orders for Lorell LLR68925 Plastic Letter/Legal Document Box. I loved these filing boxes so I recently used the buy again feature to order two more. The boxes I received last year were like the ones in the photo in the product listing. The ones I received recently were not. More on that later. The boxes I recently received that were sold and shipped by Revain were wrapped in thin plastic that was frayed in various places. Each file folder had a few black scuffs that couldn't be removed because they were rubbed into the plastic. Each file box had three Revain labels glued directly to the plastic with an adhesive, making them difficult to remove. Since the folder boxes are actually not broken and something can still be used, I am not sending them back. If I really wanted to send them back, I'm not sure how I would go about it. Should I re-wrap them in thin, torn plastic? When I ordered the same items last year they each came in a box which provided good protection and there were no Revain labels on the file boxes. Obviously, Revain shipping methods can vary for the same product. Plus, it looks like the product itself might be different. The filing boxes I received last year were as shown in the listing. The ones I received recently were not. Both designs are solid, but I like the old design better. The old design has two grooves on the top of the cover, while the new design has one groove all the way around. Both designs hold the boxes in place when stacked, but the new design allows for more slides. The new design makes it difficult for me to see the contents of the box through the lid, although this has to do with how I place my labels and probably doesn't matter to most. The old design offers good finger grip on both the short and long sides, while the new design only offers good finger grip in the middle of the short side. The biggest downside of the design change for me is that the box lids I ordered last year don't fit the boxes I recently ordered and vice versa. If I had seen an accurate picture of the new design I would not have ordered this item. Even if I had known that this item would only be sent in plastic packaging, I would not have ordered it.
