Bought for a nose piercing I've had a hard time keeping the nose bone or screw in. They were fairly easy to insert (I used a sterilized needle). to the end and stuck it into the flat back and pushed it back into my nose to guide it into the holes) but the gem side is very small it looks like it will slip into my piercing hole. It's difficult to tell the size of a gemstone from photos, rather the description says the gemstone size so I didn't have to guess. They can be great for other piercings, but not noses. I think they will work better with a bigger stone
