Great sounding speaker. I didn't buy them so much for ceiling mounting, but as a full replacement in the Nutone Home Audio System. I figured I'd just take the speaker off the ceiling mount and plug it into a speaker box. Not correct. It's a shame I didn't check with the seller first. Speaker and ceiling mount in one box. Therefore it was necessary to manually cut the ceiling mount which will void any warranty I'm sure. But everything turned out after several hours of careful cutting. Overall worth the effort. It's hard to find a 10 inch full range speaker. Happy.
