I think the cleaning solution on the pad could be more effective. My toilets are pretty clean, but I like to touch them up twice a week. After several swipes in the bowl, the cleaning solution was completely absorbed. With this product, you definitely need to use an extra toilet cleaner. It could be me - I love seeing my cleaning solution in action. Unfortunately I didn't have that experience. The pad itself stays together and does a great job with the toilet bowl cleaner added. In addition, the sponge does not fit perfectly on the stick.
