I have to say I was impressed with the sound quality. I've probably had a dozen of these smaller speakers for smartphones or MP3 players over the years, but the Dockall 2 is sonically the best. But that's pretty much the only truly standout feature of the speaker/charger. To be honest, I don't think I've ever used either of these things for voice calls. So if they're really good at making voice calls, I'll probably never know. As for music/podcasts etc, it's very good. I love all the new options like SD and USB for music playback, but I'm not interested in adding an extra port. I think they also failed not to include the internal battery to allow for portable use as well. Charging is possibly the weakest common part of this. It works but is a bit slow. If this thing were to drop from around $70 right now, I'd say it would head towards a much better price somewhere between $45 and $50. Closer to $70, you expect certain additional features and considerations, and you expect the standard features to work much better. But this is budget performance at a premium price.
