Review on 🚚 UnderCover SwingCase SC200D: Convenient Truck Bed Storage Box for Ford F-250/350 Super Duty (1999-2016) – Drivers Side by Richard Payne

I bought these devices a few years ago thinking they were the answer to my prayers. NO! They installed as intended and I didn't have any particular problems that I couldn't solve. The problem was that they are roomy and I like to carry a number of tools that I might need in the event of an accident on the road. So I took sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, crowbars, percussion gun, ratchet straps, extra fluids (Oil, AF, Trans), torches, triangles, etc. You get the picture. The PROBLEM is that these boxes don't touch the bed, whatever you store in them causes a lot of stress at the attachment points (both the frame and the plastic boxes). It is enough to drive over bumps and turns, and in the end the boxes crack, break, the frame twists / breaks. Yes, they lose all their value because they are only PLASTIC CHARACTER! The design contributes to breakage as all of the weight hangs on the frame mount at the back of the box. If they designed a hidden wheel or something on the bottom to distribute the weight they would probably work just fine. I threw mine in the trash and am looking for a better alternative. I guess I'll have to build something that works myself! Buyer Warning.
