Quality product with fairly easy installation

I found this product pretty much as described, it is a very useful and well thought out item. 1 installation issue and this has been addressed in the installation instructions for SOME VEHICLES. The bottom bracket bolt hole aligns with the existing, much larger hole in the cargo bed. The manufacturer supplies a washer and nut to match the design, but to do this you have to remove the car's taillight and stick your big, meaty hand in the tight, tiny space to try and tighten the washer and nut…

Do not use for tools. Very weak!

I bought these devices a few years ago thinking they were the answer to my prayers. NO! They installed as intended and I didn't have any particular problems that I couldn't solve. The problem was that they are roomy and I like to carry a number of tools that I might need in the event of an accident on the road. So I took sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, crowbars, percussion gun, ratchet straps, extra fluids (Oil, AF, Trans), torches, triangles, etc. You get the picture. The PROBLEM is

UPDATE: I've had the box installed for about 2 years now and just in the last few weeks the box has seemed to be having a hard time keeping it in place and after investigating I found that a bracket attached to the front of the box holding a rod that snaps into a bracket on the bedside table that has detached from the box. This drawer was under the lid of my tonneau and is used to store typical pickup items such as tow straps, zip ties, jumper cables etc, nothing heavy. The box hasn't been…
