First, let's address false advertising: it's not directly "compatible" with Strava or Map My Ride. It exports a GPX file that you can upload to Strava/MMR. It can read your Fitbit data over Bluetooth, but it only measures your heart rate once or twice per ride, so it's useless for performance monitoring. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't measure the heart rate of the person I'm riding with. The remarkable software that comes with it is third-party and actually has better support than the actual device. But the biggest reason I hate this thing is how many times it lost data. I will have a great trip with lots of PR. I save the ride on the device and go home. Plug it in only to see a message saying there is no data on the device. There is no record of my amazing journey. When I look at the memory it says 54%. How can it use half of its memory when there is no more data on it!? This has happened more than once and I'm just so over it. Save your money on this POS because you will be replacing it after a few months anyway. I can't wait for Christmas when I can ask Santa for a Garmin that was originally too cheap for me.
