Most professional devices that stream video to an RMTP server cost $1,000 or more. Honestly if this device had cost more I probably would have bought it sooner because I couldn't understand how this device was so cheap. In the end I decided to just give it a go. Getting straight to the point, it doesn't do what I need it to do, but at a price I can probably live with. I can't select standard frame rates like 29.97 or 59.94. And it doesn't allow me to delay the audio, which is usually required when converting frame rate. An additional cool feature is that when it's enabled, it almost always runs in streaming mode unless you're messing around with the HTML configuration page. There was no noticeable difference in video quality between this device and more expensive devices. I've tested it by streaming the entire movie on my home network and haven't had any reliability issues, but as I said I've only tested it for 1 Home (1 Home is the SI unit of time it takes to play a watch the Fast and Furious 7 movie). . ).
