Not what I expected

I was expecting a heavy pot with a neat lid feature that made frying small items easier. What I got was a pretty, round pot with a thermometer attached with a cumbersome lid.This is a boil eggs or warm up soup kind of pot. Not what I would use for frying but some might. I could easily find a pot like this at a discount store minus the lid. For me, this is not for serious cooking. It's cute tho.
