This was a good power supply. I was hoping to get another through RMA to replace due to premature bearing wear. It squeaks, then vibrates and groans, then the PSU overheats, bringing the computer to a halt during gaming or under significant load. The problem is that their RMA process borders on fun. I would have to pay shipping and wait for my computer's power supply to arrive at their facility, be processed, and then wait for a new one to be shipped back. For real? This is at least 2 weeks to replace a defective part, which is crucial. They have a cross-shipping option, but at the same time I would have to pay the full MSRP for a new power supply. Not to mention the virtual maze they created around accessing RMA forms, a long list of terms, packaging requirements, and so on and so forth. I wouldn't complain about their discretion, but other manufacturers just don't have as many speed bumps in their return/exchange processes. Charging the consumer is just old fashioned and bad for business. I guess I'll just order one from Seasonic. I hope it doesn't expire before the new PSU arrives.
