These are good units that work as advertised. I have two of these to cover the back of my 55 gallon tank. The equipment, combined with a good air pump, creates an excellent bubbler. As night lighting, the lights may be too bright for your aquarium, which is why I am giving four stars to a very good product. I have personally blocked some of the white lights with rocks to reduce the light in the tank, if the manufacturer supplies snaps on the white light caps or a dimming method that would make these lights perfect, but I recommend buying them if you have one need night out. Lights in your aquarium, just be aware that you may need to block the light in some way.
