My teenage daughter stole my original CHI iron (which is still working great after 5 years!) because the cone I bought her "pulled her hair," she said , but not CHI. So I let her keep it and bought another one. This is exactly the same as the original. Works great, glides great and doesn't pull your hair at all! It also heats up really quickly and I love that the temperature dial has numbers - unlike another brand I've bought before. This one also makes the hair shinier than other brands. I highly recommend this iron and will never buy another brand again.
