Bought this for my wife to replace her chi iron which eventually died after 4 years. She swears by the Chi brand - and I can see the difference in her hair compared to other brands. Chi leaves her hair silky and shiny. Highly recommended!

Works great! CHI - OG in the flat iron area. I had my previous CHI for 12 years and used it almost every day and then it finally started shorting out. If this lasts that long, I'll be very happy!

Not genuine. My sister bought the exact same thing in store (not online). You can tell it's real because it weighs more, looks way better, and is CHI Air. (I had cheap plastic) Judging by the pictures, I also ordered CHI Air. But when I received my item, it just said "Chi" on the side. The rectifier box has already been opened and damaged as if it was a return. I don't recommend at all.

My teenage daughter stole my original CHI iron (which is still working great after 5 years!) because the cone I bought her "pulled her hair," she said , but not CHI. So I let her keep it and bought another one. This is exactly the same as the original. Works great, glides great and doesn't pull your hair at all! All I can say is that this Chi Iron is a real find. I have read other reviews that other Chi irons are fake. To be honest I have no idea what you are talking about. This is definitely true chi. That works great. I have medium length hair, a bit frizzy. This iron straightens hair and removes frizz. My old Chi lasted 15 years. I have no idea how long it will last, but I would definitely recommend it.

4 stars for temperature control, because of the control itself! Poor placement design, I accidentally increase the temperature while straightening because the slider is right where I keep it! In addition, the cord is very long, part of it must be held with Velcro. Otherwise I love my CHI!
