Was good till the bottom flew off. Disappointed

I needed a drop proof case and I was disappointed. It fell off a c-table (dog running around) and the entire bottom panel flew off, and the laptop landed on its edge, giving it a deep scratch. It previously worked & caused no damage and stayed together. I'm not sure why the bottom panel came undone but I'm now looking for a replacement.
