This is a good hat for the price. It's cute, very soft and very warm. This is my first time getting a hat with this design and it's great for keeping my little one's ears warm. The outer part is made of microfiber fabric. While it's warm, it's not the best when it's raining. So if you live in a very humid area, you should take off your hat. The inside is made of faux fur. It's soft and comfortable and keeps my boy warm. He loves wearing it and spent the first 2 days not wanting to take it off. The design could be improved. One side is slightly longer than the other (about 1/8 inch, which is very noticeable). Another design flaw is that it doesn't close at the bottom, some of these hats close, which might be ok but it doesn't.
