Sometimes I sleep a little wrong on my pillow and wake up with a sore neck, so I finally decided to try one of these Shiatsu style massagers and I'm totally in love with it. So far I've used it on my neck, shoulders and lower back. It's surprisingly easy to keep it where I need it and adjust the pressure by squeezing it more or less firmly against me. It's too heavy to lay on, but I don't mind if it's through parts of the very comfortable with my hands (or just one hand holding the other side if I'm at a computer desk and need to use a mouse ) stays in sling or with (large size, I'm not a small person (women's size 18 I think and I have a few inches more) velcro attached around my waist. No washing instructions and I'm not sure if you remove those completely You can remove internal parts from the cover with the control knobs, but there's a zipper at the bottom that lets you unclip the larger part if you need to spot clean the power pack and are worried about the electronic components getting wet and the rest being faux leather washes off very easily I didn't use the heat (midsummer now) but I really like having this option turned off Overall I'm very satisfied.
