Robust design. I love the little splash of pink on it. It fits a little tighter than I would like, I think because of the padding, which means we have to use the second hole on the collar and then skipping both rings isn't enough to keep it in place. . I've recently had to start using a spiked collar on my female boxer mix because some idiot takes his naughty 9 month old puppy to the dog park from time to time. The "puppy" is already bigger than my two 130 lb dogs and he grabs my boxer by the neck and shakes it. He's done her some harm in the past and the idiot owner just laughs at it because he wouldn't do that to any other dog. So now he can grab it! This collar is wider and the spikes are sharp enough that he won't grab her by the throat. We've tried other spiked collars that were narrower and the spikes just snapped in so they kept coming off and the idiot quickly figured out how to get around the collar before I could intervene. Since wearing this beast collar, he has to play a little more civilized, like my dog, because it offers better protection. Whether you just want your dog to look punk rock or you need functional protection from aggressive animals I would highly recommend this collar. It's worth it.
