It’s a very nice bag and is perfect for day hikes and any outdoor activity. I bought this back specifically because of its waterproof claims and was planning to use it while kayaking.I decided to test it out and it failed. I put some paper in the bag and made sure the zippers were closed completely. I ran it under the sink and found it to be water resistant. However, when I submerged the whole bag in the sink and opened it up again, the paper was wet, making this bag water resistant but NOT WATERPROOF.Disappointing, but I think I will still use it, as it’s a great bag, I’ll just have to put my keys and phone in ziplock bags to ensure they don’t get wet.
