The headphones are a variant of the very popular ATH-M50, with the difference that the M50X has a detachable cable. I did not notice any difference in sound compared to the previous model, and there are no significant differences in wearing comfort either. Therefore, if you are interested in very detailed reviews about the sound and other things, you can read the discussion of the M50. Three cables are included with the headphones. The headphone jack is durable, the cable is securely fixed by turning. The cables themselves are thick and durable. The headphones are closed, but the sound isolation is not perfect. In a noisy subway car, I would not recommend using them. Overall, great headphones. If you want a cool sound for reasonable money - take it, do not hesitate.
- The bass is the best I've heard - powerful, with a "penetrating" sub-bass. Mids and highs are very clean and balanced. The sound is just wonderful, catchy from the first note, I want to listen more and more. In my opinion, these headphones are most preferred for rock and pop music, however, other genres and directions sound great. Very reliable design, despite the relatively low weight, the headphones are very durable. Headphones have low impedance, they can be used with any sound source. I included them in different sound cards, in smartphones, in a laptop, everywhere the sound is very good. Comfortable, as far as possible for closed headphones. The set includes three cables of different types and lengths.
- No significant shortcomings were found. Of the little things - the cable sticking out of the headphones has a rather long connector, sometimes it clings to the collar.
