Review on Stay Hydrated on Your Bike with the CamelBak Podium Chill Insulated Water Bottle by Luis Blaschko

good bottle Not the best

The bottle is fine. Keeps cold for a reasonable period of time. A 4-hour bike ride in 90 degrees heat would of course be too much for that, but no soft bottle can withstand that. My only problem is the tip. The Camelback is just different than the others, and that's really a design flaw. (What Apple would call a "feature"!) With a regular bottle, it's easy to lift the cap with your teeth, put some water in your mouth, press the cap down with your chin or whatever, and put it back on. , all without delay. You can stay pretty much up to date. But the Camelback has a weak curve design to not easily close when driving. And yes, it will leak when full and open, just like any other bottle. That is why it is so important to have an EASY opening and closing roof. But I think it's still useful for a roadside stop bottle. It would be nice if the Camelback wasn't so stubborn with its silly upper design that differs only to be different. Most of the time, when everyone else is doing something the same way, it really is because it's the best way to do it. Likewise, in most cases, the simpler the better. And Camelback breaks both rules.
