These SVS Prime Trebles are no joke, these speakers are really good quality. The sound is superior to anything in this price range. I've played with crossovers a lot and find that 120Hz sounds best. I placed them directly above my floorstanding speakers. Your setup was pretty good. I didn't need the included dowels, I just started and finished the holes with a screwdriver. If you have any doubts about buying them, just order them, you won't regret it. Dolby Atmos and DTS X really changed the way movies were supposed to sound. Wonderful!
