The issues I'm having with this controller may not apply to everyone, but I felt I should point this out if it helps someone else. My PS4 is quite old and has started to have serious connection issues. to wireless controllers so I made this purchase and in most places I've looked this controller has been a great option. It's not a bad controller. Works great, all buttons and joysticks are responsive. It also arrived quickly in fairly professional packaging and with a cord long enough to use in my room. My concerns relate to how it is physically designed. It's hard to tell from photos, but the sticks are noticeably smaller and are essentially bare, grippy plastic that's incredibly difficult to move without slipping (especially during more intense games or longer gaming sessions). This is a big problem for me as I usually use "Kontrol Freak" joystick controllers and the joysticks on this controller are too small for them or other shooting accessories I use. Even based on the standard analog sticks on DualShock controllers, they're a lot harder to use. This, combined with the smaller grips and oddly angled triggers, makes it almost impossible to hold the controller comfortably and be accurate or responsive while gaming. Well that might be something to adapt to and if it doesn't sound like something to bother you then by all means ignore this review. Personally, I'll just have to keep looking for the best wired option.
