Thin and breathable
Mostly bought as a winter barrier against cold drafts. Did a test fit, the cover was nice and thin, breathable so wouldn't say it would "insulate" the crib. It is enough to keep the air from blowing. Can't wait to check it out in winter as it's cold in the room. The side zip comes in handy in case you want to check on the baby.
