I bought this board and was concerned about the difference in the connectors my power supply and the power supply on the mbrd have. It wasn't until I downloaded a copy of Asus' instructions that I realized that it doesn't matter and that Asus says either a 4-pin or 8-pin connector would work. I am using a 4 pin power connector. and it works fine. I am attaching a screenshot of the guide showing both are acceptable. The board runs impressively fast when you boot it up with the right processor and memory.
