
Programming the board was a bit difficult. To turn it on, 5V was applied to the 5V line rather than the Vin line. (3.3v to 3.3v line didn't work either). It appears that the reset pin is not broken, so programming via the serial port will require a manual reset of the board. Using the CameraWebServer example thumbnail, the camera should have been defined as CAMERA_MODEL_AI_THINKER and not the default CAMERA_MODEL_WROVER_KIT. The camera has a very noticeable rolling shutter, but I think it's a software issue.
