Update September 7, 2021: Thanks to another reviewer, I have power bank (https://amazon.com/gp/product/B08LD7RY23) and cable (https://amazon .com/gp/product/B08J2HXYPH) who have been promoting their PD (Power Delivery) technology. With these additions, the Ethernet to USB-C adapter now works great. Seller just needs to tell buyers in key description that buyers need to use PD compatible items to stop all 1 star ratings. Ethernet works but not enough passthrough. Without a key, the Pixel 2XL charges quickly; with adapter, normal charging. Without a key, the Asus tablet works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with 100% connection; using an adapter slowly discharges the battery. I took a risk and lost.
