Easy to hide but a bit tricky to use
I might not understand this, but the way the cable is pulled through the hole that goes from the base to the light fixture can be that little speck of light a bit difficult to manipulate. Once you have it where you want it, the device will slip out of place if bumped. However, this is a great little headlamp for the money. It effectively hides on my espresso-colored bookshelves and illuminates what I want to focus on. The light is dim (I use a very low wattage bulb) so it gives the desired effect.
