As a busy pharmacist, I have found that hours of work can fly by without a sip of water. I scrupulously brought my own water each day, but the few seconds it took to unscrew or open the lid was enough to keep me hydrated. (I know, first world issues!) But there was no point in me taking water with me unless I drank it. And the double-insulated metal containers I used had to be hand washed, which meant that on those busy mornings when I found unwashed containers in the sink, there was no water. After getting pregnant and having a few dizzy spells from dehydration, I started looking for another option. This mug saved my life! Pros: - Doesn't spill (when there's no straw) - Dishwasher safe (top shelf) - this was a must have for me! - Fits in a car cup container (I have a 16oz size) - No caps make it easy to drink with one hand in the car (or with a baby holding). At work or in the car, my cups are mostly upright. When I toss one in my lunch bag, I just remove the straw. Other: - Other reviewers claim that the mug sweats. I rarely use ice, but when I do I don't see it as a problem. I have time to drink water, now I just need to find time to pee. :)
