Pros: - Extremely lightweight. Weighs less than my magazine. I can carry both in a reasonably sized bag and not hurt my shoulder. Boots in no time. Press the power button and plug it in, it will be ready in front of you. - Looks good and feels good. The plastic looks strong, the keys don't stick*, the mat feels nice. Adequate volume and brightness settings. It doesn't get too loud, but it's fine for normal usage situations. Syncs flawlessly with my Android phone. Google integration is now as good as Apple's, I get notifications on my Chromebook a bit faster than I normally do on a Galaxy! The battery life is great (I get 6-8 hours of typical university use from it) and even when I'm using it, it charges as fast as my phone. Cons: - It slows down noticeably if you do too much at once. When I have a Facebook Messenger video call, it takes three or four seconds for Chrome to respond. However, apart from video calls, it's really good. I can play a browser game while watching YouTube and chatting with friends with just a split second lag when switching tabs. If you put in a lot of hard work, this Chromebook might not be for you. The spacebar is impractical. He doesn't like being touched too close to the mouse pad, and sometimes he doesn't respond if you press him too quickly. This isn't an issue for most people, but if you're a fast typist it can be an issue - I only notice this issue when I hit 75+ wpm. It could also just be a bug in my device - the screen touches the buttons when the screen is closed, so your buttons carry smudges from the corners onto the screen. I've only had it a month but will be watching for any long term damage it may cause. Overall the issues are pretty minor and for the price I'm happy with what I got. I travel abroad with him and he's everywhere I go and does everything I do except stop me from multitasking and bugging my mom on video calls!
