Review on ๐Ÿ“ฆ Chapman Grand Plate Storage Chest by Rene Putman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good buy for square plates but need help.

This is fine and does the job, but flimsy little (I mean really little) bits of felt are useless. Storage containers do not protect the dishes from anything other than dust, which is also dubious. If there was velcro on the lid I would be more confident in the product being as useful as it was delivered. I added foam on all sides and between each dish. I used picture hanging Velcro cut into small postage stamp sized pieces to secure the lid to the box and keep the bottom and sides from wobbling. These hangers are not designed to be moved as there is no padding. The included felt is thin enough to see through when held up to the light and is 1/3 the diameter of the jar. So if you have a 12 inch disk it will cover 4 inches. You'll have to buy packing foam if you don't want the dishes to rattle. There is cardboard for the sides and bottom but they are not attached. So when the container is in motion the bags sag and bend, so I attached cardboard to the bags. With that kind of wobbling and a lid that just sits on and isn't fastened, it keeps falling off; another reason I attached it. I am really disappointed and will not recommend this product as it is simply useless or not worth it as it is sold. If they fixed it like I did, then maybe! So why didn't I give 1 star? Because the handles and material are very strong and after everything is attached they will look beautiful on the shelf. I store seasonal foods in my pantry.

Cons
