I prefer hands free wallets but I don't want a backpack style as they aren't very secure in crowds and I've had pickpockets taking things out of my backpack in crowded places like Barcelona and Paris. So I prefer a shoulder bag because you can push it forward and keep your hand on it. This shoulder bag has a very long strap that is fully adjustable so it can be hung lower or higher or even worn on one shoulder depending on your preference. On one side there is an external zipped pocket with two open pockets that can fit sunglasses, cell phone, tissues or whatever you need quickly. On the other side there is an open pocket with a button closure, which can also be used for various things, including a snack on the go. Inside there is a zip pocket, several credit card slots and an open pocket. . I would use this open bag to carry cosmetics. I don't really need credit card slots since I carry my wallet in this bag, but they can be useful for small items I always carry with me like medicine, earplugs, cough drops, lip balm, etc. The bag is waterproof, which is great for wet PNW weather. The only thing I didn't really like is that the shape is such that it can't be filled with things or looks very bulky as it has no side seam and no width on the sides. Otherwise a very nice and useful bag.
