Excellent flow meter. I have a 2900ft cable @2 al urd for direct burial. Something caused it to short out and burn out. I tried a cheaper Fluke TS90 test tool but it didn't work. Called Fluke and spoke to a tech. He told me that the TS90 would not work well with any wires or wires larger than number 6 (not what their attachment lists). I bought this gauge, calibrated the wire type as advertised, hooked it up to my 2 conductors and it told me my break was 442 feet from me. My assistant started digging and found a gap at 447 feet. They claim +/- 2% accuracy, more like 1%. This gauge costs three times more than the Fluke, but it's worth it. I was without power for 3 weeks. If I had originally bought this meter it would have been in a couple of days. does what it says
