For reference, I have a Windows 10 home PC and a 1080p monitor, so I can't test 4K quality, only 1080p video resolution. I bought this webcam because of the affordable option for video conferencing, which is more common these days. It is very easy to use, just plug and play. I'm not a videophile expert, but the picture quality was pretty sharp. I held the soda label 1-2 feet away and can still read the words on it. I feel the image quality was sharper in Windows Camera than in the Zoom app or Google Hangouts. My image in video conferencing apps only looks a little blurry around the edges, but there was no lag during my video call. The built-in mic sounds clear enough when I'm sitting about 2 feet away. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase. It's too early to speak about the quality of the webcam, but I'll let you know when and if it goes down.
