I have a mix of straight and wavy hair, very thick and coarse. And lots of it. Basically, my hair texture is like cheap dental floss. Drying my hair is always difficult, even with a Dyson blow dryer, and the end result is always super curly hair. I've tried some round and paddle brushes in the past but nothing has changed. This is the first time I've become "thrilled" with a brush. This made blow drying a lot easier as it could handle both the volume and texture of my hair so my hair didn't get tangled as easily during the process. And the hair after that almost does not press. Almost ordered due to other reviews complaining about the weight. I can say that the weight is not an issue for my weak right wrist which has never fully recovered from carpal tunnel syndrome despite surgery. I'm so glad I went ahead and tried it to see what a difference it makes.
