I'm sure whoever designed this chuck never made a movie and never used it for its intended purpose. The writing surface is made of thin, shiny plastic that wobbles and is difficult to write on, and you have to use special white pens. To make matters worse, the included eraser doesn't work, requiring you to use a wet rag and then a dry cloth before writing on it again. Hopeless if you shoot a lot of scenes. The white screen printed markings will wear off with very little use. The three screws holding the hinge piece together were loose when it arrived and I had to use Loctite to keep it from unwinding. The only positive is that the cotton is good and it's held closed with a small magnet. However, when other issues are considered, this is not a sufficient reason to purchase this poorly designed product and I suggest you look elsewhere.
