Yaufey 30 Pint Home Dehumidifier is a very nice and compact unit. It has a fairly low noise level and a good dehumidification rate of 16 pt/24 hours at low speed (ie emptying a 1/2 gallon tank every 6 hours at 77°F and 60% relative humidity). With my 1900sqm it works great. ft. summer home in Minnesota. According to the Sound Meter app on my Samsung S7 smartphone, it reads 50 dB at 2 feet above the unit (note: it's louder there because it has an upward-facing fan) and 44 dB at 10 feet from the unit. Both readings were at a slow rate. Although twice I did notice the humidifier compressor running a little louder for about 5 minutes. time frame, but eventually things stabilized.
