Review on JBL LIVE 300 White: Premium True Wireless Headphone (Renewed) - Unparalleled Audio Experience! by Kenta Sasaki ᠌

The product did not cause delight, but you can use it.

I have been choosing TWS headphones for a long time. I wanted with touch controls that support both switching tracks and changing the volume. Unfortunately, in an acceptable price range and the above requirements in the 2022, it was only possible to purchase Samsung Galaxy Buds from a manufacturer with whom I have not been friends for a long time. Seeing that JBL Live 300 appeared on sale, I immediately inclined to buy this particular model, which, unfortunately, during operation disappointed more than pleased. The headphones themselves are quite “bulky” and can be felt in the ears, but they sit tightly no matter how I turn my head. The built-in microphone transmits speech well without any extraneous sounds and distortions, so any interlocutor hears everything perfectly. Noise isolation at a decent level: even in the subway, the maximum volume level on the devices raised up to 2/3 of the possible. The sound quality is also at a good level. Add to the pluses the autonomy of use - 6 hours of work from and to. About the bad. Using touch controls is a pain. If switching tracks works without failures, then changing the volume is infuriating - swipes are not recognized correctly and “dancing with a tambourine” is required. From the experience of use, they are as follows: swipes should be done with non-greasy and non-wet hands, with the tip of a fingertip, above or below the JBL inscription. But even if you do all of the above - and imagine for a second that you are running - then in any case, one of the 10 swipes will be recognized by the hellish control panel as a tap and stop the music or switch the track. A few hours of listening to music and your ears start to hurt. I used different ear pads and pads in the kit, but I did not feel much difference. Well, the case itself: the lid is not only very loose, but flimsy in itself, the charge level is not displayed anywhere. Well, for an encore, the problem is: the case is discharged - you can’t turn on the headphones, where you want, look for an outlet. The last problem is probably due to a defect, but it was the last straw and I took the headphones to the seller

Pros
  • - Autonomy - Sound quality - Touch control - Microphone - Good fit in the ears - Good sound insulation
Cons
  • - Difficulty controlling audio volume - Flimsy case cover - Lack of any indication of the charge level of the case - Pain in the ears when using - Limited functionality for changing gesture control settings
