Makes water smell like old socks, tastes bad
Replaced my existing filters due to age and the flow rate was low. I followed the original manufacturer's instructions as before, but now with the new filters, my water smells like old old socks. taste bad too. I think there was too much preservative in the reverse osmosis membrane. The water quality has not improved for two months.
