This shampoo works wonders on smaller scales. My husband suffers from light dandruff, especially in the dry and cold months, but with the right shampoo, the dandruff usually disappears quickly. Although I don't suffer from dandruff, I usually use this type of shampoo to deep clean my scalp. It works wonders in removing scalp oil and buildup. (My hairstylist actually recommended it and it really helped!) I love that the shampoo doesn't smell like drugs as I absolutely HATE that smell. Although I prefer scents, I would choose unscented over medicinal any day. This product is fairly odorless. Even though I have long hair, I don't need a lot of this product to create a decent lather. I apply this product to just my scalp, leave it on for a few minutes while I shave my legs and use my regular shampoo on the rest of my hair. (mainly because this product is quite drying) I highly recommend using a good conditioner afterwards. Afterwards, my scalp is sparkling clean. It's not something I would use every day, but I've found using it once a week helps keep my scalp clean. My other hair products seem to work better after using this shampoo!
