Review on πŸ›’οΈ TAP Magic 10016E EP-XTRAOZ ONE Cutting Fluid - 16 oz. Spout Top (Environmentally Friendly) by Braxton Jackson

helps a little

If you use this in manual mode (like I usually do) you just need to wet the tool. Like other light cutting fluids, TM works by two mechanisms: evaporative cooling of the tool (thereby removing heat) and lubricating, which reduces friction between the tool and the workpiece (thereby preventing heat build-up in the first place). Tap Magic does this VERY well on many materials that have a reputation for being difficult, such as: B. Architectural aluminum, copper, titanium. I bought a 1 liter metal can and kept it for ten years although I use it constantly in my one man workshop. Now it comes in a plastic bottle, and in honor of buying a new one, I made myself a container for smearing on a magnetic brush. (a joint project among workshops as there is only one on the market, it's plastic and it's pretty cute) - Did I mention that I love this material? I only use anything else when processing plastics, where soapy water works best and is guaranteed not to attack resins.

Pros
  • Pretty package
